As I have discussed with several parents, we are awaiting the local authority to come back to us with the possibility of us using a local school early evening. Hopefully we should know by next week.

The other option is that we rent a facility like John Smeaton / Soccer World, which will be at a cost. We will endeavor to try and get venue on a night that suits most parents and is central to us all.

The reason we are no longer training on a Sunday is due to that the 2007/08 season started on the 02 September and with all our teams in various Sunday leagues most of the manager / coaches are tied up with that.

Anybody interested in doing a coaching course / becoming a coach, please give me a call or alternatively go to www.wrcfa.com, and click on the development tab and look under Level 1 Coaching Course. Amaranth will help anyone interested in doing and pay for level 1 course.

From a club perspective, we are all volunteers giving up our free time to help coach young children / adults. Anybody wishing to help in any area, it is very welcome, so please give me a call.

As we try, where possible, to get sponsorship from the local community, to aide us develop the club, we are continually looking for investment. Like most clubs, schools etc., we try and generate as much funds as possible. One of the ways we do this is by having Social / Race Nights, raffles, parties etc. The next social night is on Saturday 06 October, at Manston Church Hall. There will be a Disco / Karaoke, Raffle and a Bar. It starts at 7pm and finishes approx midnight. Adults only. It is £5.00 per ticket - anyone interested, please let me know and we will get the tickets to you.

Finally, Amaranth is registered with TESCO Sport for Schools and Clubs 2007, so we are now collecting vouchers. The vouchers are been issued from 10 Sept to 04 Nov, so please, if you get some, save them and pass them onto me. Any equipment we receive from the vouchers will be for use of the juniors.
